God bless you, lovers of analog basslines, jackin techno, mascarpone and chianti: Discodeine are back. After 3 acclaimed EPs, numerous remix proposals turned down, a few months spent on a butch basement working on their album, Pilooski and Pentile delivers a perfect summer anthem called Singular, featuring the infamous Matias Aguayo on vocals.

'It's a Fine Line' (aka Ivan Smagghe and Tim Paris) provides one of their fantastic Train Fantome remixes while Institube wonderkid Das Glow turns the track into an underage drive by shooting at Eurodisney. Pilooski provides the cherry on top with an exoticore-tropical edit of Falkenberg (another gem from the forthcoming album) that will please you, steel drums massives.

You have guessed, this new Discodeine EP is a perfect vamos a la playa release. Please note that the Das Glow remix will be an Itunes exclusive. The self-titled Discodeine album will be released later this year, stay tuned.

Ahead of a forthcoming album for Meanwhile, Delta Funktionen adds another killer to his collection of Ann Aimee 12"s. The darkened spirit of Detroit/Benelux techno burns deep in this one, from colossal throbbers such as 'Devolution' and the tense, upbuilding 'Eruption' through the sleek mechanical pound of 'Theatre' and a moment of more melodic relief in the sci-fi pounder 'Conflict Data'. Strong stuff for those that know.

The third in a series on Theory featuring previously unreleased tracks that have been doing damage on the floors around the globe in sets from a select few DJs, plus 2 remixes that were digital only now see vinyl action.

From the seriously intense remix of DJ T-1000's classic to the heavy acid house rework of Tim Baker, this EP is peak time material, tried and tested tough club cuts that we are happy to finally release. Enjoy!

DJ support from:

Ben Sims, Paul Mac, Dave Clarke, Christian Smith and more!

After the success of Transmissions V 1.0 here comes the new and updated version 2.0 with an assortment of the finest tracks produced by Soniculture artists.

Kicking off with Billy Dalessandro, we are presented with a straight to the floor acid techno bomber that will ignite the most demanding arenas. With an old school touch and vocals that come straight from the underground, this is a must have for every dj that has the urge to rock the dance floor.

Expander, mentor of Soniculture, goes towards a more hypnotic direction, powered by the 303 and travelling on the wavelengths of refined techno, it puts the genre where it belongs and is intended for all of those who believe that it will live on forever.

Thinkfreak takes us into yet another direction, where dub techno plays an important role. With a very warm bassline and an extensive work on synth programming and drum sequencing, this is a great uplifting track that will please the most demanding listener.

F-LUX is the new project of José Diogo Correia, who is one half of Re:Axis. We can consider Neural speaking to be the most minimal track of the package, always with a concern for detail where even the voices are processed and fine tuned to reach the desired goals. Also hypnotic in its own way, this is a great kick off for the F-LUX project. Definitely more to come!

For one of the most renowned Techno labels of our time, a highly successful year comes to an end. With “Best Of CLR 2010”, a consciously low-priced digital compilation, CLR (Create – Learn – Realize) gives thanks to all of those who have contributed to this success.

To those who have just become interested in the work of the label through one of the numerous releases, events, podcasts or radio shows, the sampler offers a good insight into the characteristic sound and artistic background. The compilation contains various recently released CLR singles, a choice of some of the exclusive 10YEARS CLR compilation tracks and two mixes of the current Traversable Wormhole project. Furthermore it features the former white label ”Bauhaus” by Chris Liebing and Tommy Four Seven, which gained massive attention because of its unorthodox production style and its original anonymity.

Punctual at the end of this eventful year, the label draws balance and releases a haunting choice of 10 of the most popular up to date CLR tracks in unmixed, dj-friendly form. The track-list of “Best Of CLR 2010” contains up and coming producers, as much as undisputed Techno legends, and surely speaks for itself.

Christmas is a time for people to come together. In that tradition, Desolat celebrates a year packed full of music, with their second yearly Christmas label sampler: a showcase of inspiring heavyweights alongside fresh talent from two continents, wrapped up in a big shiny bow. While last year’s Christmas vinyl sampler was red, this year’s sampler will be blue: simply a beautiful sounding item in our favourite music format.

All artists featured on the sampler have released music on Desolat previously: some as special guests, some as cherished label staples. Legendary Chicago producer DJ Sneak jumps into the fray with a contemporary salsa-kissed house jam at a strapping pace; taste-making French don Franck Roger similarly digs deeps with the agile burner "Egotrippin". Desolat’s taste for dancefloor atmospherics is further exemplified by Loco Dice’s stripped back and frisky track "Don’t Make Signal" and Martin Buttrich’s playful "Roads". Livio & Roby, Premiesku, Yaya and Guti & Audiofly also contribute their own takes on the Desolat sound: with crunchy, sample-flecked grooves aplenty.

It’s been a watershed year for Desolat, with a super-wide variety of singles, remixes and long players by artists such as Pulshar, Ricardo Villalobos, Thomas Melchior, Marco Passarani and Der Räuber & Der Prinz: musical explorations of submarine-worthy proportions. We’re excited to see what 2011 will bring… Stay tuned!

Christian Smith's Tronic had an incredibly strong 2010. With the likes of Laurent Garnier, Carl Craig, Marco Bailey and Psycatron all cropping up alongside Smith himself, it was the sort of vintage that truly deserves an end-of-year-roundup-comp.

'Tronic Treatment 2011' is the direct result of 2010's superb catalogue, featuring all of the label's highlights you could want carefully segued by none other than D-Nox & Beckers, two artists set to deliver their debut LP for Tronic in Spring 2011.

Kicking off with Smith's celebrated remix of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les', Tronic Treatment 2011 is no shrinking violet - quite apt for a label that pushes a stream of big room tech-edged house and muscular techno without any dips in quality.

From 'At Les' onwards, we're treated to material from rising stars Wehbba, Dimitri Nakov and Psycatron alongside established veterans like John Selway, Marco Bailey and Samuel L. Session. While textures and tones change the energy never drops, which is as damn near a perfect summation of Tronic one could get.

With forthcoming material from a wealth of talent old and new, Tronic looks set to continue its quality output throughout 2011 - just dont miss out on this fine retrospective/introduction.
