Finally! we know the release date of the new Avicii EP called “Sweet Dreams” (Swede Dreams) which will be release on Stockholm based label; Joia Records. You will be able to buy it of Beatport on Monday, 31st 2011!

The EP will have 3 versions; Swede Dreams Mix, Sweeder Dreams Mix and Swede Dub Mix. The track is obviously based from Eurythmics Sweet Dreams, but this is a new sound for Avicii, really electro house which is very interesting.

The Swedish rising star seems to be able to try and succeed in any genre, which is very refreshing when he could just stay inside the Swedish synth based house style.

Following yet another vintage year for Axtone in 2010 with choice releases from Axwell, Prok & Fitch, Matt Caseli & Danny Freakazoid & Adrian Lux the label starts 2011 with a bang (pun intended).

‘Blow Up’ introduces two new sets of producers to Axtone in the shape of Hard Rock Sofa & St. Brothers. Collectively these Russian producers have been responsible for releases on the likes of Pink Star, Mutants, Cr2, Sirup, N.E.W.S, Nervous & many more but ‘Blow Up’ is set to be the record that launches them to the next level having been a mainstay in Axwell & the Swedish House Mafia’s record boxes (SD Cards) for the past 12 months.

Leading the way on the package Axwell teams up with Germany’s rising star Thomas Gold, sprinkling their magic dust on their re-vision drawing on the best parts of the Original and adding a new level of intensity that should see support right across the house music spectrum.

On the proverbial ‘flip’ two of Australia’s finest, Hook N Sling & Goodwill come together turning the record inside out, combining a piano laden break with a huge drop for a pure peak time moment.

This remix had the message boards & blogs in a flap upon Axwell’s debut airing during his special ‘Axmas’ mix on Pete Tong’s Radio 1 show at the end of last year.

Russian star Poshout kicked off his Enhanced account last year with the well received collaboration with Sergey Vegas, Afterglow. He returns to the label early in 2011 with the solo effort, “Lonely”.

Oozing with understated class, the blissed out original is our favourite work from Poshout to date. Haunting vocals and lush chords hold the focus of the track, whilst the driving force behind it is the tech influenced bassline and stabs.

Remixes come from Enhanced favourite Stonevalley and newcomer Lost Connection. Stonevalley ups the pace and delivers a superb melodic take on the original as well as introducing an almighty new lead in the break to devastating effect.

Lost Connection’s string laden break is followed by a huge drop and a wonderful atmospheric build that is nothing but impressive on his first remix for the label.

Having already seen support from Armin van Buuren and Markus Schulz, this is another stand out release from Poshout!

Dutch prodigy and label favorite Juventa once again delivers sheer quality for all trance fans in every shape or form with the massively energetic banger, “Perfecta”. The flying Dutchman proves once again why he is on everyone's lips at the moment and intends to keep it that way for a while. Jordin, as usual delivers a very crispy and original production which comes accompanied in the way of two massive floor charmers.

After hearing his beautiful ‘Believe It’ remix, we were hooked onto the sounds of the young Italian producer Oza. He debuts to the Arisa camp with this top notch progressive rendition, something definitely on the housier tip for the clubbers and peers alike.

Dan Stone as a handful may know needs no introduction, the UK Trance maestro delivers a massive uplifting remix to please all pure trancers out there. This version is set to create massive mayhem on any dancefloor its dropped!

Richard is currently spending a lot of time in his studio, working on an upcoming album. Everything is still in the works, so a title is not available yet. Thankfully we do get to hear what’s cooking and it must be good,  ‘cause on a regular basis fabulous new singles from his studio vault find their way to the audience. The new title, “Wide Awake” is an incredibly electrifying vocal trancer with capital letters. Bold arrangements with tons of subtle percussion, hard driving beats and, most importantly, haunting vocals.

Richard’s rich synth programming turns the entire track into one that deserves several pre-listen sessions, simply because there’s so much detail to feast your ears on. Every DJ can put this on and turn every party, whether it’s in the club, the big room our outdoors, into a fantastic experience. Watch for the break and the following climax. Your audience will be very pleased!

The remixes are all tailor made for today’s dance floors and can feature easily in live sets of every self respecting DJ. Dean Newton reworked the original according to his trademark sound, so check it out from start to finish and don’t forget the Dub Chorus mix. “Wide Awake” by Richard Durand definitely has chart credibility, so be the first to add the radio edit to daytime’s prime time slots!

'Linking People', 'Far Away' and 'Angel' are just a few of the successes found in Giuseppe Ottaviani's catalogue - a long list of highlights to thousands of trance junkies. After collabs with the likes of Paul van Dyk, John O'Callaghan and Activa he's now sharing the production desk with Irish duo Walsh & McAuley.

Together, they present the breathtaking vocal-trancer 'Ready'. This single features the heartfelt voice of singer Emma Lock. The original comes along with five remixes to translate the gentle, original version into all kinds of crowd-pleasing sounds. Andrew Bennett keeps things trancy while Sneijder takes in the crowds with some tighter beats. Next to Maarten De Jong and the duo Sebastian Krieg & Roman F, it's Walsh & McAuley themselves who round off 'Ready' with their very own dancefloor interpretation.

With its white landscapes and snow-puppets, winter may be a very beautiful time of year. But there’s one thing missing: summer. Luckily there’s the Magic Island label to keep you warm. This time, headmaster of the Balearic chill movement, Roger Shah, turns cold snow to white sand and warm, fuzzy feelings.

This EP doesn't only have the summer soul, but also a variety of influences. ‘Eden’ is the promising team-up of Dutch DJ and producer Leon Bolier, a must-see name known of hits ‘Poseidon’, ‘No Need To Come Back’and ‘Back In Time’. Together, the set forth a combination of all the right clicks, bits, pieces and sounds, coming together in the wonderful ‘Eden’. Representing both significant sounds, balanced out till the very last beat.

Ever open to new talent, Roger once again collaborated with a promising producer on his new single ‘Lay Down’. Ross Lara, hailing from the US, had the honour to share the production desk with him. With Todd Wright’s remarkable voice on top of happenings, the trio delivers a catchy, melodic piece that'll get stuck in your head for days!

The same goes for Johnny Yono's deep translation of ‘Lay Down’. His remix transforms the original to a progressive piece of bold bass and vocoded vocals - without ever losing its heartfelt atmosphere.

Step into a carousel of nationalities and be indulged by the collab of Ukrainian and Danish producers Den Rize and Mark Andréz. Making their first Future Sound of Egypt ride in 2009, with their debut EP ‘Flames’ and ‘Distance’, the guys took some time to give it the wheel of music a second spin. But time sometimes matures, and that's clearly showing on their new one, “Naiad”.

“Naiad” is driven by a cold, hard bass, but built around a core that's filled with warm melodic trance for the hands in the air-freaks. But don't let yourself get carried away by the break too much, cause this tune rapidly fades back into slightly aggressive, banging beats and a feet-killing tempo. With the contrast high up, “Naiad” will continuously surprise.

Producer Audien, who impressed the scene with his ‘Eleven Eleven’ and ‘Palmetto’ releases in 2010, drops the tempo of “Naiad” in his remix. His rework blends progressive and electro, into a soul-soothing whole.

Two years have passed since DJ/producer Ilya Soloviev made his first contribution to the global trance scene. His ‘Sunwaves’ and Paul Miller collab ‘Lover Summer’ warmed the trance loving souls, whether they were part of the crowd or played them out loud right in front of them. But Ilya surely didn't sit still in the meanwhile. He's ready for his first strike of 2011, his “Mercury”.

First catching the ear of the Anjuna family with his 2008 anthem ‘Deadline’, Russian trance star Cramp teams up with Edu for his return to Anjunabeats - resulting in the beautifully constructed rises of ‘Silver Sand’.

Blending floaty progressive grooves with a distinctive popping melody sound, ‘Silver Sand’ is a musically rich and perfectly measured trance anthem with a breakdown that is as mesmerising as it is uplifting. Extra layers of melodies and epic chords weave into the mix as the track progresses, with a second piano tinkled breakdown adding another lift to an impressively constructed composition.

Danish trance leader Daniel Kandi can always be relied on for trance at its most anthemic and his remix of ‘Silver Sand’ is no different. Indulging his more progressive muslcal leanings, Kandi takes a slightly alternative take on the original melodies and builds a strafing, soaring breakdown rush out of them.

Like the joining of ancient clans or the marriage of Marie Antoinette to Louis of France the joining of the Duff brothers is something of a historical milestone. Since birth the Duff’s have gone their separate ways, one getting down on the worlds hipper dancefloors, hips-a-wiggling, head thrown back in rapture and all under a spinning disco ball. The other brother the troubled teen, hood up, eyes down, bass rumbling, one time selecta.

Imagine then two estranged brothers, born from the same seed living awkwardly side by side, never entirely comfortable in each other's company finally uniting on one massive inbred slab of sonic harmony. If you can imagine that slightly cack-handed analogy then that is pretty much what you get here.

After a year of huge edits and original material Duff Disco has finally gone and had a fiddle with his brother? Both taken from the forthcoming Duffstep album “Getting To Sirius”, ‘Your Touch’ and ‘Backseat’ are original Duffstep tracks given a cosmic make over by Duff Disco. They are proper modern disco music that sits just the right side of funky, without conjuring images of fluffy boots and spiky hair, white shirts and fake tan. Whilst Backseat is the more euphoric of the two Your Touch is more moody than an emo teenager watching Twighlight.

Both obviously Duff Disco but somehow keeping the family together as Duffstep’s finger prints are all over these too.

Brothers Keeper, this is the way how Dark Beat & Millok joined the Cimelde team, with this groovy tech house tune. How this track sounds and what it contains in it? Its very simple… groooovy sounds :)

But this is not the end of the groove story, there is another great production including this release, a strong and massive remix wich will blow your minds for sure, and this remix it was made by our very good friend from the Factomania team, Ismael Rivas aka Riva!

Slickly organic tech-house minimalism from Bruno Pronsato on his 2nd release for thesongsays recods. It's hard to avoid the Villalobos comparisons - such is the weight of influence from the Chilean auteur - but that's also a great compliment.

The deft 3D sound design of ‘Anybody But You’ is supremely accomplished and deeply engrossing for the ten minute duration, while the vocal treatments and dark grooving bass of ‘Feel Right’ are perfect for those cross-eyed 6am moments.
