While spending his days as doctor in a hospital, Frankfurtresident Frederic Hecker uses his sparetime operating the decks and his home-studio to create carefully crafted housetracks. OFF 21 features 3 originals of Hecker, from the original and quirky “Funk Star” over the deep floater “Le Grand Bleu” to the wasted and spacy afterhour bomb that “Honey Moon” is. 

The remix comes from no less than Reboot; one of Hecker's best friends and longtime OFF supporter. The man delivers an original, timeless and deep interpretation in his trademark high-end sounddesign. Altogether possibly one of the most sophisticated OFF ep's so far, perfect for the more discerning djs!

Created back in ‘94 by Secret Cinema, no one could have predicted how timeless this track would turn out to be! If you are in to electronic music and live on this planet, there’s a 75 percent chance you’ll recognise the weird reversed, reverbed piano riff! Now, for the first time, the original is available digitally with remixes by Slam, Egbert and Secret Cinema himself that made their way to vinyl as well.

The massive techno tune from ‘94 is ready for a little update! It can be a challenge to remix a track with so much history, but all three managed to complement the original while giving a unique spin to the track. The Secret Cinema 2011 remix is a peak time main room power tool that will turn a big crowd into a riot any day.

Slam take a deeper, more subtle approach that can hypnotize and rock a main room crowd without blowing their wigs off. Finally Egbert takes the track to a warmer funkier level, equipped with a funk-filled bass line and some warm pads over the top. A truly timeless package!

Roman Gertz has been building his name in the scene with releases and remixes on 1605, Binary 404, etc. and his debut EP for Respekt follows in the footsteps of his rolling techno style.

These two tracks on the Audioexit EP are bustling with urgency and tense atmosphere, yet still pack enough punch to shake things up in a big way.

The title track features a set of stabs that are instantly recognizable and set the tone for the track, while on "Act Crazy" the percussion takes the leading role and leads us in to a chugging, dark journey.

Sure to be championed by the house and tech crowds alike, the title track chugs along with a rolling, gyrating groove and a gorgeously full sound which dominates the auditory space in which it operates, while on the flip ‘Clap Your Hands’ continues in a similar vein with cleverly chopped vocal samples and heavily reverbed stabs of percussion. Hot.
