Owned and managed by Egyptian duo Aly & Fila, known for their characteristic trance sound, the label was conceived with all the right reasons. Not only to give new talent a chance to prove themselves, but also to build and strengthen the trance scene and share their love for the genre. Two years after its founding, Aly & Fila are proud to present the first compilation based on their very own label: Future Sound of Egypt.

Aly & Fila, known for their successes 'Eye of Horus', 'Lost Language', 'Listening' and 'My Mind Is With You', have just released their debut album 'Rising Sun' and delivered a slew of outstanding remixes, for the likes of Armin van Buuren, Roger Shah and Lange. There's no doubt that the magical Egyptian touch of Aly & Fila has made them one of the most requested duo's within trance music, in producing, remixing and dj'ing alike. But there's another role they successfully play and that's the one of label owner. Keeping the Future Sound of Egypt fire going for more than 2 years and becoming part of the Armada Music family in 2010, has seen them discover and help build the careers of upcoming talents such as Vast Vision, Neptune Project, Arctic Moon, Bjorn Akesson, Philippe El Sisi, Mark Andrez, and many more.

A mixture of warm Spanish techno and the crazy vibe from Berlin, this is what Tic Tac Toe presents on this release. We found the rising duo Attemporal from Valencia in Spain and signed 2 of their tracks, and then got the wonder-boys Channel X from Berlin to remix one of the tracks!

Attemporal is David & Salva two contemporary-techno lovers from Valencia. They have released their wonderful warm and dark techno music on labels like Resopal, Regular, Sleaze, Sonata and now finally on Tic Tac Toe.
Together with their friend Eddu Reig, they also run the label Microfreak where they have released artists like: Nima Gorji, Elon, Sebastian Roya, Adultnapper and many more.

Channel X doesn’t need much introduction. A duo from Berlin with tons of fantastic releases and remixes on labels like Stil vor Talent, Upon You, Kassette Records and Bar 25. They have had quite a few underground hits over the years, and have a calendar densely packed with upcoming gigs.

1. Crashed (Channel X Violin Pluck Remix):
Channel X has converted the track from its dark and moody vibe into a more accessible and in your face, move your feet track. Relying heavily on their typical drum programming, this track swings along with a fast paced beat and a groove that’s unstoppable.

2. Crashed:
The original of this track is a moody dark track with haunted sounds, stabs and repeated vocal snippets. Cool drum programming and accompanying percussion makes this track a nice long groover.

3. Satisfied:
Last track on this release is on the techno side of things. Again filled with haunted sounds, effects twirling around, a heavy kick and some great bass work. A typical deep’n’dark techno vocal saying ‘Satisfied’ gives the track that extra tip of techno-feeling.

Being part of the Circoloco family and resident DJ of DC10 Ibiza for the past 8 years, Andrew has experienced many things. The time spent touring the world’s best clubs and playing alongside the world’s best DJ’s has helped him to gain a reputation for being one of the most solid and consistent performing DJ’s in the world of electronic music.

Andrew’s DJ history dates back to 1988 when he was spinning hip-hop at house parties in Washington DC. But, his musical tastes soon turned to electronic after his first trip to New York’s Twilo in the mid 90’s. Andrew’s first visit to Europe was in 2000 playing in Dublin on New Years. He stayed and in 2001 he moved to Ibiza. Shortly after he was invited to play at DC10. After only a few impressive sets, Andrew was adopted by DC10, one of the most recognised and well-respected parties in the world.

Andrew has actively pursued his production career since 2001 with releases on labels such as Plastic City, Unfoundsound, Siteholder, Minisketch and his own Barraca Music with remixes from Ricardo Villalobos. He is also responsible for all musical output on Barraca and a figurehead in the labels current success and admiration worldwide.

Tony Rodriguez aka Brothers’ Vibe needs no further introduction. A master of all kinds of house music and been around for decades! We are so very happy to have him onboard for this release!

The A2 is for Ernie (Minuendo Recordings) and it's called "The Alcoholics" where mixes Indian prayers and spiritual chords... but make no mistakes, it's just the effect of the alcohol.

In the B side Kez YM continues his race to be one of the best producers coming from Japan lately. His track "Pebbles" is cool a follow up to his previous releases on Yore Records. Ordell (Minuendo Recordings) goes black and soulful on "The Blackholics".

Almost one month since the successful ADE sampler was released, Saved continues with an EP from Greek artist Mihalis Safras & Italian, Simone Tavazzi. The duo present "Leave" & "High", 2 peak time weapons which will create total dancefloor damage. The digital release also comes with a bonus mix of "Leave".

After a superb live performance at Drumcode's recent warehouse party in London, Frenchman Paul Ritch delivers his follow up EP for the Swedish imprint in January with 'Spoke'.

Chalking up releases for Wagon Repair, Sci-Tec Digital Audio and his own Quartz label in just four years of production, Ritch has been a bit of a sensation enjoying support from both techno and house fans alike, with the latter group also being ably serviced by his Handycraft project alongside Okain.

'Spoke' takes in three tracks, two of which will grace vinyl and a third which will remain a digital exclusive, which all see the producer roll out the sort of pristine production and subtly off-kilter grooves that has endeared him to many.

'Spoke' itself combines a gluey rolling bass with eerily modulating strings and a warming, plucked melody to create a peak time slice of techno that oozes character while b-side 'Blue Light' uses an arsenal of clanking percussion and aggressive, penetrating effects to do a real wrecking job on the 'floor.

Final cut 'Wonderland' bridges the gap between the other tracks with a subtle, dubby feel paired with an incessant and urgent groove a trippy piece of late night techno if ever there was one.

Pheek, Archipel's founder and owner Jean-Patrice Remillard and brilliant master of aural subtlety, Marc Neyen, team up to create a stunning and breathtakingly deep EP, "Collaboration Series 1 EP".

These two masters combine their multitude of talents and feelings to create a three piece package which is as intense and enveloping as it is subtly emotional.

"Simply" takes hints of dub influence and weaves a smokey bank of intricately patterned glowing mist which endlessly shifts and forms fractal growths as it exhales a slow and beautiful warm breath of pure night air.

Next are two pieces called "Difference", the first of which breathes a delicate yet strong breath of golden aether which is laced with sparkling flakes of fire coloured snow which dart about in an intricate dance as they flicker much like aquatic creatures of an ultra deep ocean.

The next version of "Difference" lightens up in weight even more so but is heavy on cerebral detailing and ceaselessly beautiful percussive arrangements which evolve constantly as they cause synapses to effervesce, soaked in electrical stimulation. An incredible collaboration indeed which leads one only to crave further doses of Pheek and Marc's architecturally intricate aural magick.

Motorcitysoul, mainstays of Will Sauls Simple Records imprint, return with the Ushuaia EP, an ode to the Ibizian beach club of the same name. The EP utilizes the duos analogue programming experience and inherent knowledge of all things house to capture the spirit of day & night at the esteemed beach party. Deetron turns up the heat with a stellar, almost anthemic remix on the flip side. Matthias Vogt and Christian C-Rock Rindermann are Motorcitysoul. 2010 has been a busy year for the pair with releases on Stir15, Ibadan and Simple.

Their residency at Cocoon in Frankurt also continues to build and develop a loyal following. In 2008 they released their second full artist album Technique with Simple and in recent years they've worked on productions and remixes for Freerange, Aus Music, Infracom, Blaze, Duplex Inc, Re:jazz and Phonique to name just a few. Deetron, aka Sam Geiser, the well-known and dynamic turntablist-styled techno and house dj, hails from Bern, Switzerland. He took his early cues from hip-hop, before being won-over by the early sounds of Chicago and Detroit.

In 2006, "Twisted", Deetron's first full length, was released on Music Man Records. This was the start of a long and fruitful relationship between the artist and the Belgium techno label. Since this first release, Deetron has worked on countless productions for labels such as Phont, Hardgroove, Rotation and Intec.

In 2010, Deetron could be found working on a slew of outstanding remixes for Steve Bug, Gel Abril, Randolph, Ezel, Tony Lionni, Patch Park and Toni Aalto. Most recently, "Sing", a spacey track from this year's 'Each Step' 12" on Circus Company, was featured on Damian Lazarus' just released fabric 54 mix.

Having recently bagged the award for "Best Ibiza Newcomer 2010", and riding high on a wave of support for his remix of Blagger on Ripperton's Perspectiv label, Diynamic mainstay Stimming returns home. And this time, he's got company...

Exactly one year ago, Stimming bought us the exquisite 'Funk With Me'. A production, created together with South African talent Lazarus Mathebula.

Having become firm friends, an invite was extended to Lazarus to come to Hamburg and spend time in the studio. Once again, the result of those sessions is outstanding.

With "Change", and through the vocals of Lazarus, both artists have built a musical bridge linking Hamburg and Johannesburg. A beautifully exotic production, as we have come to expect from Stimming, with an added African touch.

Completing the EP are three brand new Stimming productions for you delectation. Musically outstanding, with his trademark 'out there' touch. This is yet another Stimming release, not to be missed.

DJ Sim'is Dream It EP has garnered great reviews along with his other tracks including Dagobah and Dancing Tree featuring remixes by Egbert and Rodriguez Jnr. Largely inspired by his hometown of Naples, Italy; DJ Simi infuses the sounds and urban vibrations of his city into his music. DJ Simi has been featured on other powerhouse labels such as Toolroom Records and SCI + TEC, often with collaborator MasterKey. DJ Egbert is currently one of Hollands most promising DJs.

His 2008 Stroom EP on Lo-Fi Soul Recordings as well as his impressive performance at Secret Cinema Invites events in 2009 enhanced his popularity even more. His remix of Dream it gives the track a different flair that incorporates more electronic music and a touch of minimal. Egbert performs his sets in core electronic-driven cities such as Amsterdam, Ibiza and many more in Europe as his fan base continues to grow.

Belgiums DJ Rodriguez Jnr put his own spin on Simis Dagobah, creating an even deeper sound. His music has been influential in places such as Berlin and Brussels, even causing a huge rave in Paris. Rodriguez credits his inspiration for his successful EP tracks Princess Guacamole and La Guapa to artists such as Carl Craig and Eric Satie. DJ Simis tracks are already standalone gems and these remixes from Egbert and Rodriguez Jnr take these songs to a different level of innovation.

It's a big honour to have Amsterdam's hairiest procucer Anton Pieete with his debut on Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold's Kling Klong Records. And it wasn't that difficult to convince his mate 2000 And One to add one of his always classy remixes. Play it loud.

An essential part of the German Techno scene for more than fifteen years now, Johannes Heil is now in better shape than ever. With his eighth studio album “Loving", Heil draws both a modern and traditional balance of his life from and for the music, and thus sets one of the undisputed musical highlights this year. With this exclusive remix package, Cocoon Recordings is even topping that one: the Mainz-born Bülent Gürler aka Butch is known as one of the most versatile German Tech House producers, at least since his club smasher “No Worries". In his version of “The Ace", the perfect open air hymn for the modern House generation is emerging from a flute-like summer harmony. An essential contributor to the British Techno scene since the beginning of the nineties is Mark Broom.

His Soul Mix of “Loving” combines the melancholy of Detroit techno with Ibiza House dubs and powerful handclaps, forming an intensive homage to the sensuality of the dance floor. Last not least, Gregor Tresher is celebrating the return of the melody with his remix of “Twentythree", after having released some stricter records for Break New Soil and Drumcode. The digital edition of the Loving remixes is completed by three more revisions: Amsterdam-based Bart Skils massively stresses the bass membrane with his pumping version of “Loving", while Mark Broom is pushing further into the depths of the Balearic Dub surge with his second Soul Mix. With “Seeded", the Cocoon Club House duo C-Rock/Matthias Vogt aka Motorcitysoul is finally exploring the occasionally menacing deepness of the House area with vibrating percussions and disco strings, just in the manner of their releases for Simple Records and Ibadan. After all, love wants to be shared.

Riva Starr introduces us to his brand new alter-ego, STARR TRAXX and takes us back... way back.

With plenty of punch and lashings of funk the piano riff of More draws inspiration from by gone house classics, while a simple male vocal gives it some early '90s flavor.

Bulgarian producer Kink takes time out from rekindling acid house classics to rework More into a timeless gem, using deep keys and a spread of 90s sounds, whilst Pirupa & Pigi retain the harder-edged dancefloor aesthetics of the original.

In Snatch! tradition this powerful piano led cut, with its vibrant house vibe, shows just how comfortably Riva can navigate the musical spectrum.

The UK duo team up with Ann Saunderson of Inner City and Octave One fame on their latest Defected-released single. Starting life as an instrumental, Saunderson added her inimitable vocals to the track and the result is an awesome slice of prime time house, while there's a dub on the flip for those wanting to focus on the beats alone. Ljubljana is a nightmare to pronounce if you're not born Slovenian. To make things easier for you – it's L-you-bl-yana. There's a river flowing through the capital of Slovenia and the river is called Ljubljanica. Try to figure that out :)

It's the biggest Slovenian city, a political, economical and cultural center. But most importantly – Umek's hometown. He grew up in Ljubljana and his first gigs were in legendary clubs like Palma and K4. Here he used to play basketball in Tivoli hall along with NBA superstar Rašo Nesterović (Toronto Raptors) and this is where he and his friends organized their first party, lost all of their money and had to clean the hall by themselves.

Ljubljana's stunning architecture with landmarks like the castle, the old town, Tivoli park and national library attract more and more tourists, exploring secret parts, sit in idyllic cafes by the river or discover the town's nightlife. Everything is within a walking distance and you won't feel lost as almost everyone speaks at least some English. Even the homeless have globalised themselves to the level where they can ask you for some change in quite a few languages.

If you decide to pay Ljubljana a visit, come in May, when Umek celebrates his birthday in a monumental Križanke open theatre on an event called Dan Elektronike (or Day of Electronics). If you live more than 2.000 km away, you'll get a free ticket. The party has become a traditional gourmet event, organized by Umek's own promo and management team – Futuristični Marketing, while Umek's art studio VBG takes care of the visual part. A must see!

The recent raw and punchy Techno anthems that Dusty Kid, and good friend Emmanuele Marascia have released on the likes of B:Pitch and Boxer, seem to be in stark contrast to their everyday surroundings on the beautiful and quiet island of Sardinia.

However, the laid back atmosphere of the mediterranean island seems to be most conducive in the pair's creation of a polar opposite armory of dancefloor ammunition.

'Fairlight' sees the pair feature together on Systematic, for the first time since their 2008 smash, 'Sawless / Sineless'. This time Dusty Kid temporarily leaves the path of full frontal assault, opting instead to impressively rediscover the deeply rooted rhythms of house.

For those who prefer a more uncompromising assault on their senses, fear not. Marascia earns her trusty sidekick honor with aplomb, turning in a speaker melting, brain scrambling rework of the highest order.

Another smash for Dusty Kid, and yet another hit for Systematic Recordings.
