Benja's first Release in november 2009 has been directly supported by Acts like Miss Jools, Martin Landsky, Ray Okpara, Fabrizio Maurizi or Tom Clark. The follow-up EP will be out on the promising label esance.

The EP's name "Timeless" speaks for itself: pumping bass-drums, crisp percussions and sexy vocals result in a stunning groove. The tracks are made for club moments, when time and gravity are passing by and everything is lost in the rhythm.

Cream topping is the remix from Markus Homm and Mihai Popoviciu, which as usual shows off their almost flawless skill in producing.

Vernissage is Amir’s album project in 6 parts released on various labels including Trapez, OFF, Klimaks and Souvenir.

We are honoured to have the 3rd and deeper part of that album project on Klimaks and if that wasn’t enough we also got a fantastic remix by none other than Butch.

The deeper part of the Vernissage album project contains 2 deephouse tracks “La Ple” and Pappeln”.

“La Ple” is build around a Prince/Maxwell inspired vocal that works perfectly with the deep stabs and groove of the production. Crisp and soulful track for the warm up and early hours.

If you’re more into the primetime tech house productions you should head for the delicious Butch remix which keeps the original mood and vocals, but cleverly builds the track into the peakhour section of a club-night.

On “Pappeln” Amir is heading for a more dubby feel and still keeping it deep and very suited for the early hours. Tight beats, deep chords and flawless production makes “Pappeln” outstanding and wraps up this 3rd and deeper part of the Vernissage album perfectly.

A few months ago, these Belgians unleashed their much acclaimed revamp of Beats Of Love, for their countrymen Nacht Und Nebel. Since then, it’s been playlisted on national radio in their native hub and tickled the ears of many club far beyond.

The tune has proven to be so loveable that the Villa boys enlisted some of their mates for a fresh round of remixes.

Scottish pop luminary Mylo (him of the smash Drop The Pressure..duh!) resurfaces from his self chosen confinement with a killer rework featuring an addictive piano riff spiralling around an electropop beat. A true labour of love – welcome back, Myles!

The Finnish italo-disco mavericks of Hannulelauri go for the sensual robotic vibe on their version, all otherworldly bleeps and swooshing synths.

After a few months off Chad Stegall comes back with a four track monster featuring tracks from his last live set. Already proven to be dance floor ready this is a must have.

Uber talented duo Skudge provide the remix on this, FOFs 20th release. You may know Skudge from their recent bombs Covolution and Melodrama on their own self titled label. This offering is a little different, being more of a stripped down, slightly minimally trippy peak time ride but no less powerful for it. The B side kicks off with the filtered bass line groove of Gud Gioc, a track thats already been in the (CD) crates of the rather fantastic AR:PI:AR for some time Wake Oops! original mix rounds off the package with an exceedingly tripped out hazy ride through the early hours.

Berliner DJ/producer Bloody Mary bridges the gap between last year's Black Pearl and her forthcoming sophomore album (due for release in 2011), furthering her electro-goth sound aesthetic with the addition of guest vocalists.

Earlier this year, Bloody Mary launched her own imprint Dame-Music with the mix CD Decadence, which Resident Advisor described as "bumping, bubbly, outgoing and juicy." Now Mary is back with the Arabesque EP, featuring two originals that reunite her with frequent studio partner Sierra Sam (Dirt Crew, Supplement Facts).

"Arabesque" is a sort of gypsy-house number, with clattering syncopated percussion underscored by a floating sombre melody, and halfway through its six-minute duration, we hear an alluring voice enter the picture: Sam Leigh Brown - who's lent her talent to Lee "Scratch" Perry, Moonbotica and many others - sings some non-literal intonations that nonetheless offer a lulling undercurrent of emotion.

The subdued, yet skittering electro vibe of "Spinning Around" was created by Mary and Sierra Sam and then passed on to newcomer vocalist Eyke, who penned the lyrics that ultimately gave the track its title. In his dark, emotive delivery, he compares the overpowering force of love to being possessed by the beat while in the club. "Heart is beating faster now / Feet are marching on their own."

To round out the EP, Bloody Mary hand-picked two admired tech/ house producers - Jin Choi (Contexterrior) and Basti Grub (Desolat, Cocoon) - to put their own aural stamp on the title track, providing a wide palate of flavors for any given moment on the dancefloor.

Amam Records is pleased to announce its seventh release, a joint effort between Avatism of London and The Selph of Milan - including a remix by veteran producer Dan Curtin - for a well-rounded tech-house vinyl EP, plus two bonus tracks on the digital version.

The Selph has been on the scene releasing material since 2007 for labels like Resopal and Grey Area, the latter of which issued the Nine Days EP in collaboration with Amam chief Alessio Mereu, so of course it should be no surprise that Mereu has now recruited him for more majestic material here. Meanwhile, Avatism recently made a splash with his EP on RetroMetro, which scored 8/10 from iDJ magazine and included a remix from none other than The Selph! Now the two house addicts join forces again for a full collaborative EP.

"Refusal" kicks things off with a dark yet brisk groove and cloudy traces of dub, tied together by a mysterious androgynous voice, and on the flip side the track gets mutated into a phased-out, rubbery rainforest anthem by American Berliner Dan Curtin (Mobilee, Strictly Rhythm). "Tell Me Nothing", with its menacing horns and martini-induced glow, sounds like a nod to the EP's catalog number, 007. And it's a damn shame one piece of vinyl can only hold so much music, because the digital-only tracks "Don't You" and "It's Changing" are further case studies of our international duo's dexterity for modern dancefloor sheen...!

Little Helpers is a conceptual digital label courtesy of Andrew Rasse (a.k.a. Butane) and Sean O'Neal (a.k.a. Someone Else) launched in December 2009. Each track is a strong, reduced groove-tool aimed to satisfy the increasing number of digital DJs. Much like the traditional lockgroove vinyl, these tracks are suitable for looping, editing and layering.

Yet at the same time, each track has enough variation to stand on its own. That is, each tune lies somewhere between a full track and a DJ tool - focusing solely on the rhythm or a singular idea rather than extraneous arrangements.

German producer Thomas Reichhold, better known as Tom Novy, makes his 1999 classic 'Now Or Never' return and catch up with time. Novy, notoriously famed for his 'Superstar', 'Your Body' and 'Runaway', inspired 4 different producer (duo's) to come up with their own version of this catchy vocal houser.

German duo Lissat & Voltaxx bring in funky tech-house, while Plastik Funk go for the disco approach, with deep, throbbing bass and big room stabs. Mister 'Pulverturm', Niels van Gogh, combines both, delivering a remix that makes it impossible not to move. Bringing out the best of Lima's vocals, his remix is soothing prog-house with a touch of glamour. Last but not least, Yves Murasca & Ezzy Safaris provide a Utopia Mix of 'Now Or Never 2011', riding tenderly soft melodic synths and spine-tingling piano, building to a break of pure emotional house.
