The sixth offering of Sabotage features the twisted sound of Marc De Pulse, who has releasing heavily on labels such as BluFin recently.

The title track of the EP messes with our heads with frantic percussion and an addictive vocal snippet, all leading to sublime headiness. That's an ear-melter right there.

"Arjen" is more of a straightforward affair, again relying heavily on percussion, retaining a solid groove throughout.

London FM are up with two interpretations of "Arjen", taking it to housier pastures; the "Pump" remix going for the more rolling approach, while the "NoZoo" remix taking a more jacking and techier turn.

Alessio Mereu has a quite a productive year, from launching his own label Amam, to his solo EPs, to his collaborations including his membership in the duos Bunkers and DUM, to his numerous club appearances. That makes "Epidemy", his newest single, all the more impressive, considering it's one of his strongest tracks to date.

"Epidemy" is a foaming-at-the-mouth monster with Mereu's trademark body-moving grooves combined with wild, hypnotic experimentation. It's house music on its foundations, but unafraid to venture into distorted electro territory with a sharp-toothed snarl and gritty swagger. Not just a solid producer, Signor Mereu also has an ear for A&R, and he's invited some international talent to give "Epidemy" a tweaking. First off is Swedish Berliner Pär Grindvik (Drumcode, Spectral) who drastically reworks the piece, bringing it to deeper levels, more subtlety than bombast, with an unexpected diva vocal making a brief cameo appearance.

Then, Spanish producer Xpansul (Ovum, Perc Trax) increases the funky paranoia factor with his remix, somehow managing to be both dissonant and catchy as hell. Finally, Tadeo (Apnea, Cyclical Tracks) teleports the track into pure techno realms like a love letter to Underground Resistance. Amam's final release of 2010 is the icing on the cake - the icing on the cake for a busy 2010.

A spiral of evolving and heady, sample-laden tracks unfurl on Paco Osuna’s latest EP, a richly produced melding of continent-spanning talent, with Paco partnering up in the studio with real-life amigos Daniel Sanchez, Alex Under, Joseph Capriati and Alexi Delano. The 'Amigos EP' presents driven, moving grooves with satiating build ups, over densely-layered samples and drums. Osuna’s seasoned skill-sets in the DJ booth and as a producer come together knowingly in this release.

Osuna and his Dutch/Spanish counterpart Daniel Sanchez combine melodic and percussive samples in 'Kawuriel', whilst with Madrid’s Alex Under as his cohort, Osuna transfixes with 'WaAaAa' featuring a distinctive pitch shifting sound throughout its phasing. Your understanding of its unusual name will become abundantly clear upon the first listen. Also notable is 'Wope', which contains woodblock-esque percussion samples that compliment the rolling bass, co-produced with Italian musician Joseph Capriati.

The EP’s finale, 'Waxfix' is a combination of the talents of Osuna and Sweden’s Alexi Delano, resulting in another cleverly-derived arrangement of steady bass drums and strong high hats. It’s a well-locked and smoothly syncopated, loop-based groove.

Just when you thought we'd exhausted the possibilities of our nefarious roster, Double Oh Oh makes a sterling appearance with its debut EP on Get The Curse Music. Destiny's Wild is the sound of an uncanny collaboration between our very own rising stars Clement Meyer and Le Loup. A dancefloor yin and yang of sorts, the duo has elaborated a deadly formula which is the fusion of Meyer's dark analogue sound and Le Loup's proven beatsmith skills.

Opener 'The Muffin Tops' is a mighty and elegantly understated hybrid which operates on a meticulous dosage. With just the right amount of jack, darkness and groove, Double Oh Oh creates a tense atmosphere that is just irresistible on the floor.

'The Muffin Tops' gets the remix treatment by Bodycode aka Portable. The South African mastermind lays down an infectious groove driven by the intricate syncopated beats he has become renowned for. Bubba & T-Bone's remix of 'Destiny’s Wild' puts a clear emphasis on groove. The UK duo brings in an enhanced bassline and deep chords which make this remix a versatile sure-shot, equally potent as a warm-up / afterhours gem or a peak time tool.

Glasgow's BCR Boys return to Perc Trax for a third EP.
