The Most Rated series was resurrected late 2009 after a shortage of compilations that brought together the biggest credible house records of the year. Every track included here on Most Rated 2010 is worthy of inclusion, a bonafide hit or anthem within their respective genre of house music whether it be a soulful, deep, tech or main room smash.

Forty of the biggest house records of the year feature here. Copyright’s ‘Nobody’ – a record that has been destroying dancefloors from Pacha, Ibiza, to the Roundhouse, London and Zouk, Singapore – kicks things off and this was certainly one of the most understated hits of the summer, and only now about get its full release. There’s a big slice of New York with Frankie Knuckles awesome re-working of Quentin Harris & Ultra Nate’s ‘Give It 2 U’, whilst Dennis Ferrer’s anthemic ‘Hey Hey’ could not be overlooked and his brand new anthem in waiting, ‘Red Room’, is also included, exclusive to this compilation. The Round Table Knights mix of THAT record ‘Coma Cat’ by Tensnake is featured, adding yet another of this summer’s smashes to the tracklist. Riva Starr’s piano chugging remix of the underground cut ‘Enjoy Music’ and the brand new DJ Gregory & Gregor Salto outing ‘Paris Luanda’ are here, as is the new Chocolate Puma ‘Tonco Tone’ – only out for a few weeks and already confirmed as one of the biggest record of the year.
