Great Stuff is very proud to welcome the 1605 techno master UMEK for a proper single release. With this track the Slovenian DJ/producer produced a tribute to the city of Novi Sad, Balkan’s capital of electronic music and Serbian home of the legendary EXIT festival. One of Europe's biggest open-air festivals started as a fuck-you to then repressive regime. Similar to Woodstock, the roots of Exit lie in pacifism and anti-establishemt movements. Later on the festival became an annual event, attended by young people from all over the world and hosting some of world's biggest artists such as Carl Cox, David Guetta, Massive Attack, Fatboy Slim, Moby and of course Umek :) With the help of Italian and Dutch techno heros Uto Karem and Anton Pieete and their remixes, this release should do damage until EXT 2011.
