For our 31st release on Remote Area we welcome David Labeij and ONNO, two Amsterdam talents whove joined creative forces for the first time ever! With their studios only 2 minutes away from each other, theyve been up and down the Hartenstraat (Heart St) in Amsterdam to perfect this EP, hence the dedication:

David Labeij is internationally recognised as one half of Polder but his solo productions have caused a huge stir soaring between hypnotic deep house and delicate techno. Hes pumped out a heap of thumping tunes this year on Intacto and Remote Area, this time however hes hooked up with Amsterdams brightest new star ONNO. Although to be honest, ONNO's been shining bright for quite a while with full support from the DJ likes of Dubfire and performances already taking him to Sensation White, Mysteryland Dance Valley and at club hotspots in Barcelona, Moscow, Miami... However he feels that 2010 was his big breakthrough on the world stage and who are we to argue were just happy he walked down the Heart Street to mash out these amazing tunes with David Labeij.

I WANT MY MP3: There was a time when I want my own TV were the buzzwords, but this track brings current needs up to speed with I want my MP3. Beats trip the light fantastic across a chaotic space of jazz tints BUT its the nostalgic recording about old school production days that puts the emotion in this guaranteed dance motion.

PUSHING BUTTONS: Upbeat percussive bounce meshes with a ricocheting bass to give you an upbeat party tune thats just bursting with cheeky sound snippets burst. It pushes our buttons what about yours?

STILL STALKING: Vocal snippets tear and snag across a thumping bassline propelling you to the grittier side of techhouse club life.
