VIVa MUSiC present a label debut from Italian trio Floska. Hailing from Taranto, Carmine Mongelli, Cosimo Colella and Fabio Liuzzi first joined forces in 2008, and with a shared vision, they set about creating quality house music.

There sound can best be described as a mix of modern underground vibes, with old school influence and funk and jazz touches. Early releases have already found big name support, but its their release today that will see them step up a level…

‘NYPD’ is a brilliantly stripped and minimal house cut. Beats and bass are met with the sparsest of percussion and a b-boy vocal, and whilst there may be few elements, together they create a superbly original cut.

Nima Gorji the Ibiza based Dane, and recent signing to the VIVa agency, steps up to remix ‘NYPD’. Adding warmth with a pulsing bassline, deep keys and guitar riff, Nima gives the original a fantastic early set appeal.
