He kicked off 2010 in emphatic style with the almighty Wildflowers EP and continued throughout the year with stunning remixes for the likes of 7 Skies & Kiholm and Vast Vision, as well as further glorious singles and now he signs off the year with yet another outstanding release; yes, 2010 has well and truly been a fantastic 12 months for the immensely talented Suncatcher.

November 1st and Lightshow yet again display this man's ability to produce utterly spine-tingling trance - packed with raw power and emotion - and you can see why over the past 12 month he's become a firm favourite of world No. 1 DJ Armin van Buuren.

November 1st is built upon the grittiest foundations we've heard yet from Suncatcher, with its thumping kick and snarling bassline, and his trademark pads building and building towards the blissed out breakdown and roof-raising climax.

Lightshow follows in a more typical Suncatcher style, with its pretty melodies, rolling bass and acid lines, making this a two track EP of the highest quality - each track deserving the spotlight.

Therefore, it's better to take your time and wait 'til you hear an outstanding trance anthem coming out of your studio speakers. Adam Kancerski honours the saying and now presents the follow-up to his 2009 track 'Who's In Charge'. Featuring the stunning voice of vocalist and producer Aneym, who's also worked with Tenishia, Aly & Fila and Nitrous Oxide, their 'It Takes Time' captivates you as soon as its melodic sounds take over your speaker. This is one tune to listen to again and again without boring even a second.

Still busy recovering from the all-destroying success of their 'This Night' single, duo Filo & Peri take charge of the remix for this mind-shivering track. Deep and sturdy, the Filo & Peri remix of 'It Takes Time' fulfills all needs a true trance fan could ever have: it's got emotion, flow and a true hands-in-the-air break! Let it take you over.

"This is just the beginning of the beginning" has always been the motto of Dutch sound-creator Thomas Bronzwaer. If you take a peek at the long list of his previous successes, you know there's something big coming up. His first solo production 'Close Horizon' saw the light of day back in 2005. From that very moment on, his career ended up going in no other direction but straight up. His 'Resound', 'Look Ahead' and 'Certitude' filled countless floors and appeared on mix albums by big names like Armin van Buuren and John O'Callaghan. After staying with the beloved A State Of Trance label for a couple of years, he's now paying John O'Callaghan's Subculture imprint a visit. And you'll agree - his latest double release, 'Galaxy' and 'Still Waters', is indeed big!

On Thomas' latest EP, two tempting instrumentals await you, full with layer over layer of stunning synth-lines. 'Galaxyrise' is an archetypal uplifting-piece, one to take you away. With the melody-line in the front it's pretty different from 'Still Water', which has a lively background. They say 'Still waters run deep'. The same goes for Thomas' track, as it's moving, melodic and emotional. Since all of that is just the beginning of the beginning, you better be sure to keep an eye on this Dutch talent!

One thing's certain. Whenever Dutch producer Mark Sixma disappears, he always returns with a new M6 cracker of a tune. After a few weeks of radio-silence and long days in the studio, it doesn't take long before the next track-surprise awaits us. Presenting uplifting anthems like 'The Rising' and 'Opus Spectrum', taking us down the dark road of minimal and techno influenced masterpieces like 'Deep Inside' and 'Into The Unknown', is Mark's specialty. While his tech-trance collabs 'Genesis' and 'Inferno' are still destructing international floors, he's ready to sweep them with a new solo production: 'Days Of Wonder'.

'Days Of Wonder' is the clear evidence of Mark having a sixth sense for breath-taking melodies. An odyssey into darker sounds, sliding down the road of a bittersweet, uplifting trancer, without over-doing with effects. 'Days Of Wonder' shows us that musical miracles still happen.

Not only will the original version of 'Days Of Wonder' be a highlight to thousands of clubbers and trance-junkies, it's also the remix of Estonian talent Rene Pais, better known as DNS Project, that'll do its work on the floors. He gives the track a well-deserved big-room treatment.

Fast on the heels of the Beyond Horizon & Snowflake EP, Hydro Aquatic is doing some quick fire dancefloor releases here in the Monster camp. Back with another two track EP, we're hugely delighted with this recent follow up offering that delivers yet again some energetic moments and spine tingling euphoria so accustomed with Hydro Aquatic's style.

Crossfire is 1st on the list, with a thumping beat and driving gritty bassline, plucked melodies ensue, with deep lush pads building the crescendo into a peak time monster. Heavens Divide is on the subtler side of life, with a nice chunky beat and warm, solid, grooving bassline that drops into a piano solo merging with a catchy uplifting trance riff that immediately puts a smile on your face.

Continually getting the nod from the biggest DJs on the planet, it's no surprise that Hydro Aquatic is developing into a very consistent artist here on Monster.

Aly & Fila's beloved label became famous for the very best trance sounds, captivating melody-addicts from all across the globe. But who says the music on the Future Sound of Egypt needs to have its origin in the famous country for pyramids and pharaohs? The latest release certainly states the international character of the label. Nowegian production FKN, known for his Aly & Fila collab 'How Long', back in 2008, teamed up with Russian duo Aurosonic. Supported by the stunning voice of singer Trine, the four of them created a wonderful vocal piece called 'You & Me'.

Profiting from small housy influences, very warm sounding and with a catchy melody-line written all , 'You & Me' is a special release on the label that is actually known for big break-downs and dramatic build ups. We're talking about musical open mindedness. And don't you worry, cause even if a big break down is missing on this sun-drenched release, it's the quality and positive feel that makes 'You & Me' stand out.

An outstanding EP to recall a bit of a summer feeling.

DJ Shog and Megara put on their 'alias' masks once more to deliver the Golden Coast second single. Techtrance beats leading to a big vocal breakdown and a bigroom liftoff. If you like your trance uplifting this is an essential tool.

Part of the Magic Island family, we've found the productions of Swedish producer Kim Svärd on Roger Shah's 'Music For Balearic People' compilations twice already. After his debut track 'You & I', released in late 2009, he's back with a new, lovely production, 'Manne's Song'.

Like his previous release, 'Manne's Song' balances things out between uplifting and Balearic trance. Melodic, summery and absolutely stunning, it builds up a tingling piano-line to a huge soundscape. Whoever craves more of those effects is more than welcome to check out Kim's 'Emotional Mix'. On that one, he extended 'Manne's Song' to a dramatic, heart-felt trance piece of emotion.

Georgian producer Nuera unpacks the guitars on his remix of 'Manne's Song'. His translation sits at the deeper end but delivers uplifting moments in the same drive. A female vocal hailing from the back and soft progressive elements on top of all happenings turn this rework into an unusually diverse EP, which definitely deserves to hit the stores as the 50th release of Roger's beloved Magic Island Records!

This is the first release from Pulse & Sphere newly signed to Nu Communicate Recordings.

A man of many aliases, Rob Stevenson aka Activa resumes his Solar Movement guise and return to Anjunabeats – home of 2009 release ‘Eclipse’.

Bright, sunny and uplifting, ‘Indigo’ is a perfect sonic respite to the cold winter months with a breakdown that comes alive with ethereal vocals, climbing synths and a classic chord progression.

Known to Anjunabeats for his pacey, groove-fuelled remix of Bart Claessen’s ’90 Nights Of Summer’, German producer Robert Burian turns in a pumping and powerful remix that beefs up the groove and takes a quirky twist on the original melody.

Rising star Chris Melton makes it an uplifting trance hat trick by adding some striking piano motifs and interesting twists.
