Fresh off their 15 year anniversary Ibadan Records is back with a four track EP "Leads & Bites Vol. 1"

'Love Test' by Jerome Sydenham & Christian Prommer, Prommer is one of the most celebrated drummers in Electronic music, but this particular collaboration, 'Love Test', with Jerome Sydenham, is a tribute to these great talents appreciation for the Electronica genre.

'Sweet Rise' by Jerome Sydenham 'Sweet Rise', aims to ail that string of rude awakenings that often plague us.

'Eshelon' (Jerome Sydenham's Naija Remix) by A.V. Jerome's deep take on an original composition 'Eshelon', from AV. The original of Eshelon was released on Naija E.P. by Soul Sun Soul Music.

'The Fever' by Jerome Sydenham & Function New York boys doing it how New Yorkers do.

Holmby Hills. We have waited long time for this! This year their remix of Hatikvah's "Synchronicity" on Baalsaal Recordings entered the US chartlist of Velizar and was dropped by Agoria on his "Balance" Compilation. Now their first debut single will be out on FormResonance! The twelve inch (and digital) release comes with the diversity FormResonance stands for: a non-standard club music.

Holmby Hills' two smooth'n'ruff House tracks and two Hip Hop-Jazz encores turn this record into a testimony for the state of mind of FormResonance. When Soul is melted together into an off the grid House track, it is not that far-fetched that both men have shared their music ever since tapes existed.

Engin Oeztuerk, one half of Here Today, which came out on Philpot and Buzzin Fly and Block Barley (who already has released two albums on Hong Kong Records and We ain't Music) are both tinkering in search of music to dance to. They wickedly transform their musical masters' ideas into something extraordinary sounding. An off-the-grid team!

For out next release we have the pleasure to present a producer and label boss that needs no introduction, it’s the London based deep house supremo Alex Arnout.

Alex has been producing house music under different guises (DaLunartikz, Dread Poets, Sublunar, Ceramix and Output) for the last ten years on highly respected labels such as Low Pressing, Dogmatik, Toolroom, Uberbeat, Phonetic etc and reached the dizzy heights of number 1 spot on Pete Tong's Essential Buzz, Coolcut and Mixmag charts.

This as well as holding numerous dj residencies and guest slots around the world:- Pin Up (Ibiza), Danzatoria (Barcelona), Fabric (London), Dance Valley (Amsterdam/Barcelona), Circo Loco (Ibiza), Club Loop (Tokyo), Mecca (Prague).

Alex also found the time to set up the massively successful Dogmatik Records with production partner Leiam and has released some of the finest house music ever heard from artists such as Alex Arnout, Output, Peace Division, dubKult, Afrilounge, Alison Marks, Maya Jane Coles, Nima Gorji, Stojche, Leiam Sullivan, Chris Ibbott, differentGear, Mayuri & Salmon, Man In The Cupboard, Johnny Arthur.

It's been an amazing end to the year for Maya Jane Coles, she hit the dizzy heights of chart success (voted No1 charted track on RA for the month of Oct) with her '92 feel-good house track 'What They Say' which could easily be mistaken for an early MK/ Nightcrawlers record. We're very proud to welcome Maya into the Hypercolour family, and we lead with the 'Humming Bird' EP, which as far as we are concerned is a great end to an also great year for Hypercolour.

Picking up where she left off, 'Humming Bird' once again utilises that classic house feel for which Maya is becoming well know for, non-surprisingly a harmonic 'hum' weaves over and above Maya's organic bass and drums. This is grade A deep house and will be sure to please all those who played and loved 'What The Say'.

She's no one trick pony, and anyone familiar with her alternative projects will know she has immense talent. Next up we air 'Nobody Else', blissed out electronica with none other than Maya herself featuring on vocals, her catchy vox makes you feel like you could easily be at the helm of the Bristol scene in the mid 90's, smoking a reefer and listening to the likes of Portishead or Massive Attack, clearly a big influence on Maya's sound.

'Lookin' Out' continues the drive forward for the dancefloor, an incessant vocal carries a groove, pushed along by Maya's trademark bass heavy approach throughout, which rolls with the flow, into percussive breaks. This is yet another example of Maya's grooves, strictly intended for the floor.

Once again Maya's alluring vocal reaches out in 'You', her voice is both delicate and dazzling here, sitting on top of a low-slung, dub house groove, ska style bass and ragga stabs echo throughout. This is a totally refreshing strand of 'House' and wipes the floor with the swarm of generic music out there at this present time.

Finally, 'Contradiction' just had to go on the package, and too our absolute amazement this track is nearly 5 years old!! it has just been sat there  taking up space on Maya's hard drive it may have the percussive house tag, but trying to place where you will hear it? could be anywhere from the Balearics to a back street sweat pit in the outskirts of Whitby.

RA winds up its year-end polls with the staff's take on the top tunes of the year.

One thing you probably didn't see coming in 2010: the glorious return of the anthem. Unlike last year, when ultra-subtle tracks like STL's "Silent State" made the top 5, 2010's top 50 is packed with unapologetically catchy bangers, most of which probably got as much play in Ibiza as they did in Berlin. It's as if club music finally became so niched that the crowds once again yearned for collective experiences.

Indeed, if Motor City Drum Ensemble's epic remix of NUfrequency hadn't been officially released in 2009, it might've topped our chart this year. (It'll have to make to do with setting a record for most consecutive months at #1 on RA's DJ charts.) But the RA staff isn't composed solely (or even largely) of DJs. So our list has plenty of weird ones too. UK bass's latest mutations rank nicely, stonefaced techno is still going strong and Chicago's juke phenomenon crashes the party as well. All sorts of music took our fancy this year, this is simply 50 of the most popular among our staff.

Remix and additional production by Dada Life.

Apparel Music wishes all its listeners a Merry Christmas! with Keisuke Kondo, Sinan Kaya, Fab Galdieri, Pierre Santino, Kisk, Maxim Buldakov, Beleft Beright, Melo & Jorge, Sailor Mood, Nice7, Moodymanc, Kjofol.

The Anjunabeats Yearbook collection gathers together some of the biggest Anjunabeats tunes of 2010 with tracks from Above & Beyond, Kyau & Albert, Gareth Emery, Duderstadt, Super8 & Tab, Aruna, Nitrous Oxide, Mat Zo and many more, includes a bonus DJ mix.
