Every now and then an artist comes along on with a sound so fresh that it's impossible to ignore. Destined for big things on Anjunadeep, Canadian producer Colin Fisher aka Soundprank is undoubtedly one of them having already earned himself some early acclaim through his energetic remix of Solarity's 'Start'. 



Now stepping out with his debut solo EP on Anjunadeep, Soundprank blends a diverse selection of influences to create a unique, alluring and deeply uplifting sound. Built on a fresh electronic groove full of melodic shimmers and rippling funk, 'The Far Side' is a spacious, musical and deceptively subtle slab of future prog and is already signed up to appear on Jaytech's 'Anjunadeep 03' mix. 



Backing it up with arguably an even deeper and more complex gem, Soundprank's second outing 'Cloudsound' takes us on a epic musical journey with elements of uplifting electronic house, tech-house and classic progressive all combining.

The spherical title track 'Shadow Of The Statue', is carried by a short piano loop while the funky bassline sets the rhythm.

Loco Records welcomes 2011 with a remixed version of an EP formerly released on the label from the talented duo of producers Evren Ulusoy & Sezer Uysal. "At Night Remixes EP" is composed of four refreshed tracks delivered by Triad, Echofusion, the duo Karol XVII & MB Valence and another duo Submantra & Le Vinyl. Hopefully, the release will become as successful as its previous edition including original versions of these excellent productions.

First step made by Octave to introduce his own label with two original tracks and and two remixes of Techno | Minimal music for dark rooms.

The main track of the EP “Hyper Ego” is full of energy through a banging kick and a groovy bassline which are sustaining a digital space full of hypnotic and glitchy synths evolving in a moving atmosphere.

The second track “Silent Strike” is more mental, deep and progressive but on solid Techno basis. Real dark vibes in a deep atmosphere supported by a black and powerfull bassline.

Audio Injection’s remix is a real mind blower in a very deep atmosphere and can raise any dancefloor up. Between dark feelings and rolling basslines... this sound gives a true minimalistic intensity.

Tom Hades totally reinterpreted Hyper Ego and delivered a real pounding remix for big club sensations, throught intelligent head shaker loops and a big dancing bassline.

Coinciding with the theatrical release of the movie 'Black Swan' on January 20th, 20th Century Fox, in cooperation with Get Physical, bring two exclusive remixes of Thomas Barfod & Fredsky's 'March on Swan Lake' to the dance floors.

Thomas Barfod is an international success as a DJ, Artist, and Producer. He's also known as the drummer and producer of the band 'WhoMadeWho', and for his solo persona, 'Tomboy'.

'March On Swan Lake', originally published on Get Physical in 2009, accompanies the theatrical release and gets picked up again, wrapped in a new swan costume.

Emerson Todd (Get Physical, Cocoon Records, Upon.You, Dirtybird) and Velten Meyer (Motor.FM) gave their best, and achieved the perfect 'Black Swan' touch.

Michael Cassette's recent single 'Ghost In The Machine' managed to attract the applause of Deadmau5 who said "I haven't felt this good to a piece of music since Eric Prydz's 'Melo' - 10/10". A hard act to follow, but the Finnish producer has again surpassed his own high standards with his latest single 'Memories'.

For many, the lead track on this EP is the boundlessly uplifting, nostalgic '90s Piano Mix'. Originally featured as the iTunes bonus track on Michael Cassette's debut album 'Temporarity', the huge buzz around the track warranted its own release - having already won Webvote winner on Above & Beyond's radio show.

Bringing some warm waves of upbeat emotion into the cold winter months, the '90s Piano Mix' of Memories is already destined to be a huge hit throughout 2011. The forumla is simple. Take one fat, funky rolling electronic groove, add in a huge piano house melody and watch the main room fireworks go off with a bang.

However, as always with Michael Cassette, the production is deeply complex with cosmic flourishes, a futuristic finish, clever drops and many twists and turns on this uplifting cruise.

Included as the a-side is the previously unheard original mix of 'Memories'. A dreamy, more downtempo electronic track that further cements Cassette's position as a producer of serious pedigree.

To kickoff 2011 we bring you updates of two seminal Ovum Releases from David Alvarado and Luca Bacchetti. On the A side, we have called on the legendary David Alvarado to give us his interpretation of Luca Bacchetti's 2008 Ovum debut El Matador. David didnt disappoint, giving us a deep tribal journey track that will take you to another place. What has always made a David Alvarado production stand out, was his ability to make records that crossed many genres.

This remix isnt any different and should be played by a cross section of DJs. On the B side, Luca really puts his stamp on David Alvarado's classic Klugh. He has transformed this into a chunky house monster adding a vocal sample and taking element of the original and making it his own. To finish things off, David went back did a new version of Klugh for 2011. He deepened things out and created an amazing journey track. Three incredible remixes and a great way to kick off 2011.

One of 2010’s bigger underground house hits was a certain Dixtrit produced by a newly formed partnership going by the name of Bassfort. The praise and support came flying in from all directions and it was clear these guys would be ones to watch in the future. In it’s Jimpster Remix incarnation Dixtrit was also included on Harri and Domenic’s RA podcast. Which was nice. So enough of all that, we’re now very happy to bring you the anticipated follow up and we’re confident this will prove even more popular and put the Bassfort name well and truly on the map for good.

Last Night, put simply, is unadulterated good times house music that confidently crosses genres and brings joy to the dancefloor wherever it’s played. Part unabashed peaktime piano anthem, part deep and driving bass heavy tribute to the golden age of house this little beauty is already causing online trackID frenzy from early Jimpster plays.

Up next we have The Street Is My World in it’s Piano Mix guise and brings with it yet more perfectly crafted deep but energized house with lovely filtering Detroit pads, a simple but massive bassline and those trademark Bassfort piano stabs. They also manage to bring a hint of disco to the beats and mix up a whole range of different sounds without losing any focus or impact. This is expertly done for sure.

Finally we have the original of The Street Is My World which opts for a slightly freakier, deep and stripped back approach complete with intense synth FX, vocal hook and echoing background atmospherics.

After his two great releases in 2010 on the respected Brise Records from Germany and Cimelde Records, he starts this awesome 2011 with a cool deep tune called Everybody in the Everybody EP coming up here as the 3rd release of Wentz Records including two remixes from some his good friends .The first remix by the well know Fog from Greece with a really deeply lovely Chi Ca Go remix , and the second one made by the label manager Sami Wentz from France who gives us a cool house vibe in his work.

Wow, I feel like I've been transported back to the 80's when I listened to this project the first time, which is not a bad thing at all. It sounds like Roger Troutman in 2011. You young folks won't remember him, but this is what FUNKY music sounded like. Think of Prince with Kraftwerk, Roger with Zapp, OK let's get back to 2011. This is a hot project with hit potential written all over it. The remixes rage from Funky Electro House to Dubstep, running between72 to 128 bpm.
