Finishing off a milestone year for Nueva, we thought why not end it the way we started it with Alucard and his Michael Vjadslaw alias. Again Alucard makes a blend of Trance with a Prog-Tech twist bridging the gap between genre's. Gorgeous underlying melodic tones with a dark streak. Road test it, we dare you!

For the other side of the coin we go to man of the moment Darin Epsilon as he correctly interprets this track into a driving progressive force to be reckoned with.

Fresh from re-editing a healthy batch of Strictly Rhythm’s back catalogue and mixing their latest compilation, Radio Slave offers two original tracks from the Rekids label.

Matt Radio Slave has just returned from his US tour where his new tracks received great feedback. They are also currently working wonders on European dancefloors where Matt DJs regularly.

Both tracks are heads-down dancefloor bombs, typical of Radio Slave’s renowned style. This release will please both techno and house DJs alike.

After releasing a plethora of fresh and challenging tracks into dance music’s collective conscious, Moguai finally bows out of 2010 with a HUGE number. And what a track to release, the pummeling, breaks-infused ‘We Want Your Soul’. For further proof of the German wizards talents, its been snapped up by Steve Angello’s SIZE Records label and been given a full release, if Size really does matter, then Moguai’s huge new anthem will be the focal point of the Christmas break.

‘We Want Your Soul’ is typical Moguai fare, with “LYVE”, electrified synth rhythm’s offering a light, jumping track, before the break wades in with pulsing bass-laden stabs, vocal chops and bouncing bass, wrapped in major tonal chords, offering a pounding yet light hearted and party-fuelled banger.

Coming in hard like a sledgehammer is Sebjack’s awe-inspiring, room-shaking interpretation. Stripping back some of the high notes for more of a low key, heads-down sound, this heavy piece of weaponry is straight four-to-the-floor fodder. Tribal, bouncy and offering the same adrenaline-fuelled rush akin to “jackin’ house”, its peak time, carnal bounce is a tune that will be fully utilized in the coming months.

On the other side of the spectrum sits Thomas Gold’s reworking, taking things to a more robotic, electronic tip, fusing big room synth riffs with staunch, unweaving and dark techno beats, effortlessly straddling between hands in the air and heads down fare, utilizing the best of both previous sounds.

Another great release to end the year off with a huge bang - and there’s more to come in 2011. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears firmly locked on…

Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno, Biosphere, are a few of the Masters in the history of electronic music. They were the first ones to experiment with modular synthesizers in the 70's: Monstrous instruments that could easily come from a sci-fi/horror flick. Today, 40 years later, thanks to these genius inspiration, hypnotized by their work and totally immersed in their atmospheres, Pablo collects his best atmospheric works produced between 2000 and 2010 in one album.

We continue the adventures of TJ Kong & Nuno dos Santos in the world of twisted emotional deep electronic music. Their recent album After Dark, My Sweet (CD released June 2010 on Compost), empowered their names and reputation across the globe.

You might also recognize the voice of the Canadian hip hop poet Jemini in the spoken words of "Once Upon A Rhyme". She gave thousands of DJs a knock on the head with Nick Holder's No More Dating DJs. Melon, who has managed to gain residencies and regular bookings at some of the worlds finest clubs purely by being great at spinning records, such as Fabric, Robert Johnson or Panorama Bar, adopted the track and created a highly addictive cool club mix. Downtown Party Network is a duo from Lithuania. One half of the project is DJ Saulty, the second being an experienced music producer Bradka. They had releases e.g. on Eskimo, where they made the first steps into the nu-disco circus. They deliver here a fine deep discoish version of This Time feat. Spunk from Marbert Rocel, perfect listening pearl for the cold season.

Ludovic Llorca (a.k.a. Art Of Tones) is well known from his output on labels such as 2020 Vision, Laurent Garnier's F Communications (3Eps and the LP Newcomer), Freerange, SSOH and others. With his remix for Birthday feat. Nicolette, he finds the perfectly fitting groove for Nicolette's beautiful voice and makes it to a jazzy soulful house nugget, a true pleasure!

Last but not least, we got Rob Smith on the boat, from electronic music lovers surely treasured trip hop / down beat / drum n bass masterminds Smith & Mighty. We re proud to have Rob shown here his interpretation of The Quiet Room, which turned out as a atmospheric dubby breakbeat number with a eerie touch, definitely tells its own story of a quiet room...

2010 has been a very intense year for Tiefschwarz! Having released their new album Chocolate on their own label imprint Souvenir in May, they played a heavy schedule of DJ and LIVE gigs all over the world and released “More Chocolate” and “Melted Chocolate": a fine series of productions and remixes inspired by the original album release.

“Melted Chocolate 3” completes the series and brings the “Chocolate year 2010” to a beautiful ending with remixes by: Reboot, Bruno Pronsato and Marcus Meinhardt. One of the secret weapons of DJs such as Sven Väth, Dubfire and Loco Dice in 2010 has been “The Whistler”. To honour this very special tune, Souvenir included “The Whistler” into the digital version of “Melted Chocolate 3” with remixes by Nic Fanciulli and &Me + Rampa. For those who have not seen Tiefschwarz playing LIVE yet: take your chance to celebrate Christmas Eve at Cocoon Frankfurt with Sven Väth and Tiefschwarz Live! Merry X-Mas!

Again a new groovy dark track from Szymon on his new Relax2000. After his last release on Relax2015 which was supported by remixes from Felix Bernhardt and Syntax Error, this time, he gets remixed by the cologne "Niederflur" Duo, who are one of the first acts on M-NUS since the early days.

After their return in 2010 with their album "BIPOLAR" on their very own label NIEDERFLURTRACKS, followed up by a remix series featuring the great works of Troy Pierce, Raudive, Jonas Kopp etc., they also take part of the relaxed releases on Relax2000 Records.

They chose Szymon Hollner's Freaky Poeple to add their own electronic music aspects. Szymon Hollner added two more bonus tracks which will be out digitally soon! Be also a part of this relaxed release!

Amongst the haze of Coffee Shop's and Red Light District's comes yet another label debut, this time for Dutch deep house new comer Helt. Set Beat starts off with a simple yet effective groove. Some nice spread out synth stabs give a deep and deadly aura. Helt holds back and releases the clap really late on, getting the dance floor all pent up. Some liquid metal effects and a dark, eerie male vocal aptly season the track out with some subtle late-night flavour's Mark Broom's interpretation takes things straight to the centre of the dance floor by creating a tight loopy beat to build on, steadily layering with warm organic rhythms and lazy hazy drones.

A peaktime tool with plenty of backbone. Hypnotic. Leeds A-list Techno party System residents Annie Errez and Bobby O'Donnell take the original record down a much darker path with a stripped back, trippy, late night groove. Electro-tinged blips float over gunky, lo-fi screw beats while warbling, palid vocals hover in the background. Wouldn't sound out of place in one of Magda's sets.

After Russo’s Wicked Debut EP Manitoba He takes us down a gear with his interpretation, adding depth with a crunchy low groove, swirling synths and moody melodies. Archie Hamilton crafts a clinical deep house spin of the original,with some delicious acid undertones. Creating some ripples in London at the minute, he is definately one to watch for the future.

The second part of the "Welcome To The Woods" of Applescal features remixes by: Spada, Dopamine, Leeks and Jules & Moss.

Spada delivers a unique remix of "Your English Song" that is transported by the force and drive of an appegiator, occasionally taking a breath diving deeply into Applescal´s melancholy.

Dopamine has remixed the same track but ends up somewhere totally different, reminding us of early Jimi Tenor on Sähkö, very simplistic and stripped down this is a dead cool techno remix.

Leeks has remixed "Welcome To The Woods" and keeps it much more on the tip of post Detroit style with big emotional synths.

French artists Jules & Moos have just signed with Dirtybird and give their debut on Traum with their remix of Applescal´s "Welcome To The Woods". Being real masters with the performance of real drumming which they have included in their DJ sets worldwide... their remix lives of that acoustic quality they have made their own trademark. Celebrating a "breathing" electronic sound... it proofs they are unique within the fast paced world of club culture.

We welcome back Applescal with another techno stormer.

We started to work with Amsterdam based Traum artist Pascal Terstappen with his „Paul For President“ 12" in spring 2009 and introduced his clubby side.

Later we also discovered his dark electronic side and released 2 albums on Traum with him: "A Slave's Commitment" and a "Mishmash Of Changing Moods". He has meanwhile established himself amongst the forward thinking artist on Traum and it all also lead to the opening of Traum´s ZAUBERNUSS imprint for modern new electronics.

Now Applescal thought it was time to rock the floors again. With his new "Welcome To The Woods" EP. Pascal takes you by the hand and shows you his own personal world.

Painted by numbers, this melodic but highly dramatic colourful world of club music follows his own rules.

It is a fine blend of old school vs. new school, especially notable in the twist and slides.

With a skilful precision Applescal rises the level of intensity in the title track "Welcome To The Woods" with a light hearted and gentle approach... twisting the knobs in a dynamic and explosive way, bringing in melodies and twists.

"Forced Angel" connects well "Welcome To The Woods" in a way that gentleness and high dynamics meet here again. In contrast to "Welcome to the woods" this track has an alluring altogether feel to it. In a kind of felt "slow motion" the track reveals romantic images.

"Your English Song" seems almost folk, with a bagpipe full of lush sounds and enough tiny melodies to make it a full ballad, the track shifts dynamics, jumps from sadness to euphoria... this track shows all the greatness of Applescal.

Alec Tronique has been described as a multifaceted musician with releases on various labels such as Etui and Broque and Ipoly. He has remixed "Your English Song" in a way that has Kraftwerk and the Aphex Twin come alive. A pearl of elctronica that expresses his attitude to write modern "free form" dance floor music.

Traum´s artist ThermalBear has chosen "Forced Angel" for a remix. The English artist at times seems to hit sequences which could have come from Joy Division but then jumps into next gear and makes the cross over to an advanced breathtaking dubstep like track.

Shonky demonstrates his supreme talents with one of his strongest releases to date, this time for one of his base labels, Contexterrior, delivering four luscious house gems on ‘Les Shonkettes’. ‘Les Shonkettes’ is typical of Shonky… A heavy dose of hypnotic groove, sharp beats and a pinch of cheekiness give his productions unique character and style. The title track is a fast paced house cut harking back to early days with stark piano stabs and echoes of soprano melodies, brought up to date with high standard production techniques. Still using a vintage sound, ‘Crapulerie’ is hypnotic and seductive in its approach, taking a darker and slower angle with its central rumbling bassline.

In much the same way the loops of ‘Obelix’ entangle the listener in a swaying rhythm of vocal cries and spellbinding sounds. ‘Conquistador’ is the last sibling to this package, the final curtain glistening with charm and alight with pleasure. This is Shonky at his best, twisting and turning to eternally surprise with his technique. The young Frenchmen Shonky has been producing house music for the last few years to great acclaim especially through his debut album on Freak n’Chic ‘Time Zero’, as well as countless productions on pioneering labels such as Spectral Sound, Crosstown Rebels and Mobilee. Incredibly, music was a second-choice career for the 26-year-old who studied mathematics and statistics for five years.

“I was supposed to get a job in a bank,” he grins. But the lure of electronic music and culture proved too strong. He picked up many of his tips at Dan Ghenacia’s infamous Batofar after-parties, where he struck up a friendship with Dan, Dyed Soundorom, and the rest of the Freak n’ Chic crew. Inspired by pioneering deep house figures such as Gemini and Kerri Chandler, Shonky has dubbed his own innovative style of mixing, writing and producing, a new sound that reveals sonically groovier house dimensions infused with stronger vocal representation.

Always welcome at Theory, Juan Rico aka Reeko, delivers yet another stormer of an ep. Neatly fusing his darker mantek material with more Detroit-ish flavours, this 4 tracker see's Reeko continue to grow as an artist whilst never losing sight of the dancefloor. enjoy! "Agile Movements" also appears on the Surgeon mix CD on Fabric.

We are more than happy to present MARK HENNING's debut release and welcome him on the label. We are fans of his music since day one, and this year seems to be his strongest! Mark provided us with seven perfectly fitting tracks to form this double 12" coming in volume 1 and 2.

His skillz on the Roland Jupiter Syntheziser are the main forces behind all the jams, combined with his very own edgy club funk. He is truly a mastermind with a unique sound, he knows to create this certain feeling and athmosphere, whether its mental, clever or deeply booty shaking, we totally find what we're looking for in his music.

So we had to find another master with a distinctive signature to remix the title track LUCKY J, and we found him - JAMIE JONES made a massive Chicago tune with the Jamie stamp on it but better hear and enjoy yourself, no words could desribe these eight outstanding songs better than your ears! This Ep is based on the simple concept of experimentation of classical instruments on minmal / tech basis. The three tracks have in common the same phylosophy. 'Lovely Day' is the memory of a beautiful day spent together with someone who loves you and trusts in you.

'New York Mood' is the encounter between the underground scene and jazz session of newyork. 'Riflections In The Ice' is all we see of ourselves that we do not like and do not satisfy us, as a reflection in the ice.

The Dutch duo KuhlmannMensink has been making waves in the Dutch clubscene for several years now with their mindblowing live act, revolving around selfmade controllers for maximum freestyling. Strangely enough this will be their first release ever. But what a debut this is.

The sound they present on this EP is highly unique and off the beaten track. Removed far away from standard house and techno, this is glitchy freestyle electronics for the body and the mind. The jazz inspired hooks are easy for the ears and the odd yet extremely funky drumprogramming will get any wallflower to the floor.Our good friend and artist extraordinaire Till Rohmann a.k.a. Glitterbug was the ideal candidate to remix these special tunes. And he did an absolutely amazing job.

The Passing Landscapes Mix with its haunting organ chords and constant tension, wich never really comes to a climax, is a setbuilder for anyone who wants to go a bit leftfield during their gigs. But the biggest stunner is The Long Winter Shadows Mix. A five minute beautiful and moody ambient masterpiece like we seldom heard before. His tearjerking interpretation of AD 14.1 is without a doubt one of the tunes of the year we here at Wolfskuil HQ.

God bless you, lovers of analog basslines, jackin techno, mascarpone and chianti: Discodeine are back. After 3 acclaimed EPs, numerous remix proposals turned down, a few months spent on a butch basement working on their album, Pilooski and Pentile delivers a perfect summer anthem called Singular, featuring the infamous Matias Aguayo on vocals.

'It's a Fine Line' (aka Ivan Smagghe and Tim Paris) provides one of their fantastic Train Fantome remixes while Institube wonderkid Das Glow turns the track into an underage drive by shooting at Eurodisney. Pilooski provides the cherry on top with an exoticore-tropical edit of Falkenberg (another gem from the forthcoming album) that will please you, steel drums massives.

You have guessed, this new Discodeine EP is a perfect vamos a la playa release. Please note that the Das Glow remix will be an Itunes exclusive. The self-titled Discodeine album will be released later this year, stay tuned.

Ahead of a forthcoming album for Meanwhile, Delta Funktionen adds another killer to his collection of Ann Aimee 12"s. The darkened spirit of Detroit/Benelux techno burns deep in this one, from colossal throbbers such as 'Devolution' and the tense, upbuilding 'Eruption' through the sleek mechanical pound of 'Theatre' and a moment of more melodic relief in the sci-fi pounder 'Conflict Data'. After the success of Transmissions V 1.0 here comes the new and updated version 2.0 with an assortment of the finest tracks produced by Soniculture artists.

Kicking off with Billy Dalessandro, we are presented with a straight to the floor acid techno bomber that will ignite the most demanding arenas. With an old school touch and vocals that come straight from the underground, this is a must have for every dj that has the urge to rock the dance floor.

Expander, mentor of Soniculture, goes towards a more hypnotic direction, powered by the 303 and travelling on the wavelengths of refined techno, it puts the genre where it belongs and is intended for all of those who believe that it will live on forever.

Thinkfreak takes us into yet another direction, where dub techno plays an important role. With a very warm bassline and an extensive work on synth programming and drum sequencing, this is a great uplifting track that will please the most demanding listener.

F-LUX is the new project of José Diogo Correia, who is one half of Re:Axis. We can consider Neural speaking to be the most minimal track of the package, always with a concern for detail where even the voices are processed and fine tuned to reach the desired goals. Also hypnotic in its own way, this is a great kick off for the F-LUX project. Definitely more to come!
