Part 4 of the remix series contributes between the both 2009 released originals, two remixes by Terence Fixmer, who's recent techno album "Comedy of Menace" on Speedy J's Electric Deluxe received attention, and Berlin's Tommy Four Seven, who continues his unique trademark of distorted dirty techno in his remix, already shown for example in the track "Sor", released on the CLR033 release "Ataraxia / Sor". Captain Random follows up the his Dublin Xpress EP Maximal Sound EP with 'May they Be Safe'. in the space of 12 months Captain Random has remixed Ignition Technician, Tony Craig, Produse, Juiceybar, Elektrodouche, Eight Minus Eight, Pauric Freeman and Diarmaid O'Meara.

He has recorded for Gobsmacked records and Lex Loofah's Red Robot and collaborated with Nice & Nasty's Desy Balmer.May they be safe con tinues with Captain Random's love of melody and funk. May they be safe is a funk piece of tech hosue heaven that features the sublime remix talents of Germany's Nachklangmusik. The EP is completed by B-side tune 'Mutante' and Rochfords Alternative mix.

The label based in Barcelona, Galaktika Records turns 5 years, during this they have gone from being a humble stamp on one of the reference labels tech-house and not only Spanish, but European. His publications have been calling continuously little by little attention from the best producers and DJs of the electronic music world and led by the Venezuelan label Head Maurice Aymard and can say loud and clear that what he is doing very seriously, that their sound is well defined, deep and the cosmic are the most prominent identity.

To celebrate five years of electronic life, Galaktika publish a compilation edited by Maurice Aymard and divided into three parts which will include various exclusive tracks from renowned artists as Einmusik, Uner, Chopstick & Till Von Sein, Iron Curtis, Paulo Olarte, Pinto, Himan, Autodeep, Cosmic Cowboys, Dixie Yure and Pablo Bolivar (one version remixed by Kiki , not yet published). Some old friends of the label, other newcomers define the 5 years. But it does not stop there, in December they will release a double cd selected and mixed by two of the finest djs of the scene Maetrik and Garnica, savoir faire and timeless themes emerged from the bowels of one of the most reliable labels of the European scene... We welcome Berlin based David Keno who has recently remixed Minilogue for Traum.

David has in the past recorded for Frankfurt's legendary techno label i220, Morris Sport Audio and had quite a musical journey going which lead him to labels such as Get Physical's Kindisch Label, Hi Freaks and Frankie Records.

He delivers a fine selection of four bouncy house cuts that are so elegant, bloomy, sunny and uplifting, it feels as if winter did not exist.

All 3 tracks are catchy trax and have a nice light feeling to them and therfore speak a modern language.

Mr Keno plays house with an amazing easiness... incorporating drops of charming female vocals making this release a wonderful house EP.

All tracks show a different perspective, so you have for example with “Watermelons” a very poppy track that defines itself through the vocals much more than with the other tracks.

“Towards you” is a slacker... gentle and floating leaving a stain of romance on ones chest.

Keno loves walking basslines, their acoustic quality and these small digits of melody (“Catnip “) often meeting Detroit sounding chords, making this a true Berlin product.

To open eyes, not ears to hear what there is to see - just one of the many paradoxes Mainz-based Butch manages to merge with verve. To capture the duality of his sounds that oscillate between under and over, techno and house, spirituality and marketability, club and home stereo, to celebrate the everyday high and question it at the same time, is just one of the many talents and specialties of this particular DJ and producer whose light shines from the Orient and whose future lies in yonderland.

This and much more is the starting point for a terrific second long player, released by proud and excited Bülent Gürler himself on his very own, newly founded imprint BOUQ. Leaving the flattering protection of his mayor label behind to spread his creative wings and fly around the world as free as a bird, the multi-facetted, Mainz-based producer, more self-confident and independent than ever, is presenting himself in the best party light.

Quadratically inspired, he dives into the diversity of 1009 nights, not only inviting well-known collaborators like the classical house singer Virginia into his studio but also a new discovery: the violinist Julie Marghilano who Butch met in London and whose musical talent strikes more than a chord, letting the enchanting Feline grow into a true master piece. But open your eyes: Going beyond the obviousness of pleasant sounds and diving into the small print of the album, you will encounter a fascinatingly joyful details which turn the tight-knit sound carpet ride into a magic trip. To take the tragedy of life with a pinch of salt is one of the biggest talents of Bülent Gürler.

He manages to make the listener -- or onlooker, respectively --, smile about the biggest failures of our times, or even laugh about them. Not only is there a very deep intro which, thanks to Malcolm Xs moving words, creates hope of a different world, but also an outro based on a very moving story. Looking a begging street kid straight into the eyes, the sometimes almost capricious Bülent was forced to a change of mind which led to a shift of consciousness. The random encounter catapulted him into a different frame of mind and marks him until today: the divine smile of the little girl is reflected in every happy person he encounters. and provides the motive to deliver a track which lets the listener/viewer become part of this transformation.

George Dubbya Bush was subjected to a transformation of a different kind, a revolution that has not been televised. Luckily, Butch was present, and managed to capture the moving words that would move around the world: People of Iraq, go home and die. Yes, this is the voice of evil, deliberately and uncut: If it feels good, do it. Utilizing a fine sense of irony to craft subversive messages: Nothing more than a cheeky shenanigan for Butch yet it adds more substance to the album, something people can deal with, or not. The majority though, voices Butch critically, prefers not to see beyond the surface. They are not interested in anything, totally indifferent to what is going on.

It wasnt always like this: a short film sequence which shows the execution of a student in the streets, was crucial to end the war in Vietnam. Butch did his best to run riot creatively; the interpretation is left to the people with the open eyes. They are my favorite audience, adds Bülent: Eyes Wide Open is an album for the weekend. After being fucked backwards all week long, people should enjoy their time off. They should only be aware that there are people who are fucked backwards even harder and who do not have a weekend to compensate. Every now and then, we should do something for those people.

After setting the scene alight with numerous killer singles, Israeli producer Guy J released his hotly anticipated full-length artist album 'Esperanza' on Bedrock Records in last quarter of 2008, to universal critical acclaim, and has been touring ever since around the globe. In 2009 he returned to Bedrock with yet another killer single, 'Lamur', complete with a stunning remix from one of Spain's upcoming stars, Henry Saiz. This was followed by another stunning production, 'Ballroom', later in that year.

Now Guy J returns with a highly anticipated, brand new double-header for Bedrock. Whether you go for the energetic genius of 'Heliscope' or the lush, laid-back beauty of 'Easy As Can Be', there can be no denying that Guy J is one of the stand-out electronic artists in the world today.

Guy J has emerged over the course of the last few years to represent an intrinsic part of the Israeli dance music juggernaut that has been steadily powering through clubland in recent times. Along with fellow countrymen Guy Gerber, Sholmi Aber, Chaim and Gel Abril, Guy has been at the forefront of a movement back towards the melody rich sounds on which House music is based. Guy's productions, with their driving beats, shimmering synths and journey-like qualities, embody characteristics from all sub-genres of House music. Guy J creates music that is brimming with soul and the Heliscope EP is testament to that.

Sebastien Lintz has been massively impressive in recent months and manages to rule the business again here with this latest release! Full on and peak-time house with a massive bass line, wicked percussion and plenty of energy to keep that dance floor well and truly rocking! Including massive remixes by NDKj and G.Thomas & Jake Shanahan!

Here's a remix I've been waiting on for a while, Gregori Klosman's "Never Give Up" remix... Fresh off the back of two crazy collaborations w/ Chuckie ("Irresistible" remix & "Mutfakta"), the up'n'coming Frenchman continues to deliver some serious heat!

The amazing new release from Hype Jones & Alex Sayz features vocals by forgotten man Mario Vasquez (I'm sure all of you remember his Stargate-produced 2006 mega-hit "Gallery")... The original is a real enjoyable house/dance cut (added it as a bonus!), while the Gregori Klosman remix is more of a progressive stomper suited for the clubs... Deniz Koyu also came through with a great remix...

The mysterious 80s-obsessed electronic producer, Michal Cassette has been celebrated for adding a warm, modern production sheen to nostalgic electronic sounds. Championed by DJs like Laurent Garnier, Eric Prydz and James Zabiela and picking up reviews by trend-setting blogs and dance music bibles, Michael Cassette’s debut album ‘Temporarity’ has already been celebrated in DJmagazine for “perfectly nailing an unashamedly eighties vibe with a flair and intelligence that few can muster, and without any hint of saccharine sentimentality”.

The lead single from said album, ‘Ghost In The Machine’ is a perfect example of Cassette’s well-honed union of bright 80s-styled synths, immaculate colour loaded arrangement and tight electronic grooves.

Adding a darker, more driving contrast, Komytea’s remix is a racier, techno-charged affair with gripping bass grooves and hypnotic techno ticks building to two breakdowns that add eerie, eccentric shades to the original’s neon melodies.

Two of Israel's finest prog-house producers team up for a second round of quality releases. Michael Tsukerman and Igal Gofman, blending the progressive trance smoothness with piquant house sounds, present the follow-up EP to their 'Arpology' and 'One Way Back'.

Riding the same fluent mix of influences, the duo presents the contagious pack of 'Ethnica' and 'One Thousand Moons' on the Pilot imprint. 'Ethnica' is a warm wave of progressive trance, reaching out with an indulging melody line and soothing summer-like sounds.

'One Thousand Moons' is heavier on its chords, but playful in its set-up. Deep, stirring and strong.
