New kids on the Dutch tech-house block El Mundo & Satori releases a stunning single on the Amsterdam imprint Bla Bla records. The new release About last Night is divers, but with a attractive-to-all attitude, and shows the personal growth this producers duo experienced during their young career.

El Mundo & Satori, both originated from Nijmegen, found each other in the common goal of producing energetic dance floor driven tracks, with a keen eye for subtlety and musicality. Almost right from the start of their collaboration they enjoyed the success of the efforts; releasing numerous tracks and remixes, and being played by great-minds like Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice, Karotte and Luciano. Great minds think alike, you might say..

But what about El Mundo & Satori's last night? Well, the single starts with the percussive Itty Bitty Titties, a floor filler with outburst of mystical ethnicity. Although the ethnic percussion phase of house music seems to be in its hay-day, El Mundo & Satori succeed to dose it to the right amount to keep it fresh and original. Secret places, with his mood melody, is a track quite far from the usual signature style of the duo, but nonetheless a great addition to the whole ep. The lo-fi rhythm drives you to a hypnotic state of mind, while carefully placed horns whirl you into oblivion.

The About Last Night EP closes with the oh-so-fine Kheysa, were the duo teams up with Fat Fingers. This studio-musician drops some neat keys on this track which brings the intuitively to a higher level! Add some funkiness in rhythm and bass and youre ready to shake some booty!

If this release was a summary of a night with El Mundo & Satori, you must have had a good time, because it simply has all the ingredients! Look out for this young but promising producers and try to be around when they play in your cite de residence.

Satyr - roadrunner liebe*detail welcomes new artist Satyr, who will remain anonymous for the time being, yet we assure you he is a figure embedded deep with the scene, producing and DJing worldwide for the last 8 years. This new creative angle does as his teasing artist bio promises, ’stay true to his acid house roots’, and ‘Roadrunner’ is a fittingly excitable, frenetic synthesiser trip that rises and climbs with great intensity and clarity of sound.

Wareika - rumba swing The trio of Wareika return with ‘Rumba Swing’, their second outing on the label. Perfectly jazz infected, with of course a healthy measure of that Rhumba timing, this lazy, psychedelic journey track meanders through lush fields of guitar improvisations, tumbling drums, piano refrains and eerie pitching elements, all neatly strung together with Wareika’s impeccable production.

Oliver Klein & Kolombo takes us back in time with this simple and piano driven tune. All melted together and arranged perfectly to take you back to the core of house music that quite simple just works 100% in the clubs.

This track has been roadtested for 6 months now and nowhere have the reactions been less than GREAT!

Taras Van De Voorde (best known for his excellent track “1998” on Rebirth) loops the track into deeper grounds and makes it less uplifting and more driving to the primetime action and underground heads.

Fantastic remix job on such a signifigant “piano-hook” track.

This is one of those releases that just puts a smile on your face and takes you back. Hit play and “pump up the volume”.

Three tidy Tech-House tracks taken from Lee Jones' recent Watergate mix CD. His remix of classical/house trio Brandt Brauer Frick's 'Melancholie II' gets things off to a refined start, before his and Nick Höppner's 'Mymorial' finds a warm and gloopy modern deep house groove and Acid Pauli' gritty mnml jacker 'December' keeps the vibe simmering with subtly hypnotic melodic developments.

The 4th release on their own imprint "Pattern Repeat" (Resoe & Kenneth Christiansen) again delivers two killer Techno tracks. The duo has really built themselves a solid reputation on the previous 3 releases, and gained support from artists like Function, Silent Servant, Pär Grindvik, Levon Vincent, Darko Esser, Reference, Samuli Kemppi. Pattern Repeat shows how the modern Berlin sound really can get a twist of the new sound of Copenhagen.

With numerous hits on 100% Pure, Bedrock and Tronic we are pleased to have Christian Smith onboard. One of the most seasoned producers of the scene, Christian returns to 1605 after his remix of Umek's "Legitimate Priest" earlier this year and as expected he delivers two peaktime bombs.

The self titled offering of the EP has all the big-room techno elements that Smith has grown us accustomed to. The combination of old-school clap programming in "Price Of Freedom" with modern production definitely steal the show here and lead to a breakdown which results in nothing but dancefloor mayhem!

Keeping it on the same tip, his remix of Umek's classic "Lanicor" is yet a step further into tougher territory with pulsating, analog synths shifting the track into hypnotic mode.

Cosmic Gate keeps ‘em coming in a steady pace; this time they bring us “The Drums”, released on our Black Hole imprint.

As with the previous two releases, these new remixes are all connected to “Back 2 The Future – The Classics From 1999-2003 Remixed”. “The Drums” comes in two superb remakes. For the first track in the package Markus Schulz worked his magic and gives us an incredible and huge big room trancer that will definitely get everyone on the dance floor for the rest of the night. Get ready for hard hitting beats and rough synths with a lot of lovely reverb. Combined with urging sweeps and breaks with not a lot more than a hammering TR-909 snare, you know you are going to deliver a fantastic set.

The second track in the remix package was done by Robbie Rivera, who gave the original a jaw dropping makeover. Taking the BPM down a notch, Robbie puts the funk back in it before he adds layer upon layer of screaming synth sweeps. Carried by a thick and damp carpet of pumping sub bass, the party people can only do one thing when the break sets in, and that is to scream for more. “The Drums” is definitely the hottest club slammer of the moment!

Straight from the headquarters of Armada Music, two Dutch talents present you the result of their very first team-up. Robert Nickson, causing some heavy waves in the trance scene with tracks like 'We Won't Forget', 'Maybe Next Time' and 'Spiral', teamed up with Armada's in-house producer Ruben de Ronde, who's delivered us masterpieces like 'Stoer' and 'Grand Boulevards', tingled by the unlimited options of diversity.

The boys are ready to rock the floor, to leave it trembling deep on the echo of their new track 'Superlative', a title that says it all!

Kicking in with finely cut progressive sounds and bold beats, 'Superlative' surprises and quickly turns into a tender uplifting piece. With 'Superlative', Robert & Ruben deliver a genuinely built up track with a soul-soothing melody. However, what truly makes 'Superlative' stand out, is the angelic female vocal-line on top of it all, boosting it with an absolute feel-good buzz.

Heartfelt, blazing and with a typical British trance sound, Maltese producer Jo Micali appears on the flipside of 'Superlative' with his remix. Quite the contrary, is the remix of Turkish producer Lodos, who kept his focus on the progressive elements and tricks you with some profound, playful synth-lines.

We are more than pleased to bring back Mike Danis to our camp. After his stunning delivery of the TATW supported 'Inner Beauty' and a handful of quality remixes, Danis makes his return with the very catchy 'Cosmic Diary'. A euphoric progressive trancer chock full of melody and energy.

On remix duties we once again have label favorite and rising star Juventa on one end of the rope and on the other comes new comers Eximinds with their debut remix on our imprint.

Hailing from Russia, Eximinds slow things down a bit with their rendition while still maintaining the melodic essence of the original track, something built for proggers. Juventa simply does it again, the Dutch prodigy child makes a u-turn and takes this track into a completely different direction with his banging uplifting take, massive to the fullest bit!

Alter Ego Records opens up its books to the very talented Norwegian Espen Lorentzen, who introduces his love affair very well!

Espen teams up with British vocalist Simon Latham to create the very unique 'Heart'. Remixes come from Enhanced star Temple One with his progressive edge Tu Casa and also from exclusive Alter Ego artist Peter Lesko.

The Original Mix is a charming yet deeply brooding vocal venture that stands up extremely well with the unique vocal chords of Simon Latham. Deep throbbing basslines, evocative plucks & stabs coupled with super catchy top lines make Heart a very fine indication of whats to come!!

Temple One's Tu Casa mix is a lovely treat filled with both club and lounge moments! Super production as always from Joe, with an array of warm sounds and colours that use the best bits from the original extremely well. Dont miss this one!!

Peter Lesko rounds up the package with his energy soaked mix, which takes Heart to dizzy new heights with plenty of peak time moments that will work as well on the beach as it will in the club!
