With a seemingly never-ending conveyor belt of techno production talent coming out of Italy it is a credit to the creativity and hard work of Sasha Carassi that his work can be counted in the upper echelons of his compatriot producers with release on Drumcode, Harthouse, Weave Music, Terminal M, Sleaze Records, 8 Sided Dice as well as his own Phobiq label.

Hexagon sets the tone for this incendiary three-track EP with a muscular groove pumping up the energy. A solid kick and rolling percussion provide a solid base for waves of building energy to tease out a tense ambience.

Tom Hades remix takes the original template and squeezes it hard in the middle to create a more intense build with squealing sirens and rising keys; subtly changing the focus of the track for more peak time deployment.

Octagon sees Carassi roll out a deeper, more linear groove. Heavy on percussion and infused with pulsing melodic riffs, the track is arranged with plenty of space around the elements to bring out the power of the bass tones.
